What are "Factory-Reconditioned" products?
Factory Reconditioned products are restored to the exact manufacturer specifications by the original manufacturer in a certified refurbishing center. In addition, these products typically come with the added advantage of a manufacturer warranty. These unused items have been returned to original manufacturers for various reasons: use in field tests, use in sales displays, and cancellations. They are then cleaned, quality checked and tested twice. They are also serviced, if needed, in the original manufacturer's certified refurbishing center.
What is considered Factory Reconditioned?
There are lots of things that can label items factory Reconditioned. Some are so frivolous, its laughable. But because consumer laws prevent manufacturers from selling anything considered factory Reconditioned as "new", the second consumer gets the best deal.
Here are a few examples:
Most major retail superstores offer a 30-day money back guarantee on their products and there are those consumers that just simply take advantage of that. These items are returned to the manufacturer, inspected and repackaged like new.
Items where the box or casing was damaged in shipment which are returned to the manufacturer.
The item was returned to the manufacturer because of a slight defect.
The part that was defective was replaced by the manufacturer, tested and then repackaged just like new.
The item was returned because of a minor cosmetic blemish on the casing that was corrected.
Demonstration units are also considered factory Reconditioned. These units are inspected, tested and repackaged.
It is impossible to know the history of each item, but for whatever reason the unit gets labeled factory Reconditioned it is inspected & serviced by the manufacturer then tested and repackaged to meet original product specifications. All merchandise is warranted by the original manufacturer unless otherwise specified.
Why should I buy Reconditioned equipment?
Refurbs save cash! Why hesitate getting the best value by getting the exact same equipment, with original manufacturers warranty at a much lower price:

Reconditioned items have a much lower defect rate. From 10 units that come back for repair only 1 is usually a factory refurb, because Reconditioned units are tested before they are sold.
Bottom line, if all the benefits of buying a Reconditioned product are the same as a new one even the warranty, the only "drawback" you would notice is probably a little label on the outside of the box or simply a brown box So, think again, Are you shopping smart?
What are "Brand New" products?
Products that are described as "New" are products that have never been used and still in their original factory packaging. These items come complete with manuals and original accessories.
What are "Open Box" products?
These products have never been used, the only difference between the "New" and "New Open Box" is that the outside factory seal has been broken, due to cancelled order or mishandling during transporting from warehouse to warehouse.
Will "Factory-Reconditioned" products come in different packaging?
By law, product packaging must state if an item is factory-reconditioned.
Packaging and terminology differs slightly with each retailer.
Some items will arrive in a regular retail box with a sticker indicating that it's reconditioned, refurbished, or factory serviced. Some items come repackaged in a plain brown or white box.
Enclosed manuals may refer to accessories (camera cases, straps, Cartridges for example.) that are not included with the reconditioned product.

Damaged or Lost Packages
All packages are insured before shipping for the full value of the order. If your order was lost or damaged a claim needs to be filed with UPS. To file a claim please contact UPS at 800-742-5877 You will need to provide the tracking number and proof of purchase. For proof of purchase you may use your order confirmation email. ALL Claims must be filed within 21 days or sooner. Claims filed after 21 days will be denied.
